Recién veo esto, mire usted. Gracias gracias (diría el maestro si fuera bueno, se lo digo yo que trato de serlo). Ahora sale por otros lados (fm compartiendo, de quilmes y fm aire libre, de rosario). Y nunca se sabe bien si serán un martes la cita. Nunca se sabe bien.

Hi Ken, I used an 16f84 that had at hand back then. I’ll have to dig up some old notebooks in order to find the schematics and the code. If the microcontroller is not much of an issue to you I can redesign it with a cheap and modern avr. This week I’m really busy but for next thursday I think I can have it done if you are interested.

This does not say what you used to replace the SAA1027 other than “PIC MICROCONTROLLER” What version or model was used?

Our company still uses the SAA1027 to turn some stepper motors. Because the SAA1027 IC has been discontinued they are difficult to find and buy new ones.
One source suggested MC3479. However that IC is also obsolete.

Please reply with the PIC you used and send a schematic if you can.
