{"id":2137,"date":"2014-10-31T20:33:12","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T23:33:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tangopardo.com.ar\/2cf7\/?p=2137"},"modified":"2014-10-31T20:33:12","modified_gmt":"2014-10-31T23:33:12","slug":"things-are-looking-different-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tangopardo.com.ar\/2cf7\/2014\/10\/31\/things-are-looking-different-today","title":{"rendered":"Things are looking different today&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Clearly I&#8217;m a glutton for punishment.<\/p>\n<p>Today I decided that I can&#8217;t have enough and it was time to upgrade my distro so I can play with newer things (and also because google was nagging me to use an updated browser).<\/p>\n<p>I did a <code>dist-upgrade<\/code> and that not only completed without a hitch but I also had a bit more of free space afterwards. <a title=\"A pelo.\" href=\"http:\/\/tangopardo.com.ar\/2cf7\/2010\/10\/12\/a-pelo\">Previously I hammered the thing and then just gave up all hope.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m starting to like this new future were things work like they should.<\/p>\n<p>Now that I jinxed it I went full steam with a <code>do-release-upgrade<\/code>. It is downloading 3277 files at the blazing speed of 20 kB\/s.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see if I still have a working machine by monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clearly I&#8217;m a glutton for punishment.
